CAG & Disney – Frozen at Changi Airport T3

Every year, Changi Airport Group (CAG) transforms Terminal 3 into a magical themed experience for visitors and passengers to enjoy in the run up to Christmas. In 2019, CAG partnered with Disney to create A Frozen Wonderland at Changi to support the release of Frozen II, which hit cinemas in November following months of speculation and excited anticipation from fans of the franchise.

The experience began with a vast life-sized centrepiece of key scenes from the movie including the Dark Sea, the Enchanted Forest, and the Valley of Earth Giants, designed and created by an army of skilled artists at Q’s Advertising, CAG’s long-standing production partner. ALIVE handled the planning, operations, coordination and customer experience elements of almost 5000 meet & greet sessions at the centrepiece with Elsa, Anna and Olaf, using a team of 50 trained Brand Ambassadors to ensure fans got the perfect shot with their favourite character.

Further along the terminal, there was an Enchanted Forest activity park which invited kids to embark on a multi-sensory journey of discovery to learn about the four elements featured in the Frozen II movie; earth, wind, fire and water. Access to the activity park was granted with a same-day minimum spend of $50 at selected Changi Airport retailers, and Changi’s own tech product PlayPass was used to manage on-site registrations. In each of the four activity zones, children had to complete a puzzle to unlock prizes and branded Frozen II merchandise, whilst our team of 40 Brand Ambassadors managed all elements of the guest experience across 46 consecutive live days.
