After 4 years of anticipation, Changi Airport Group, Jewel Changi Airport & CapitaLand needed a team to deliver an event as beautiful and flawless as Singapore’s most prestigious new property, Jewel. ALIVE was selected to work together with Jewel and Changi Airport Group and its partners to showcase this truly unique environment and shape an experience that was more creative, expressive and intimate, despite the enormity of the space.
We accomplished this with a very simple, elegant and single-minded approach – a Welcome to a Wonderous World. ALIVE wove the ritual and ceremonial needs of the opening ceremony with the wonder of exploration and discovery.
Over five months of project development ALIVE provided strategy, analytic event modelling, experience design and coordination. In the week leading up to the grand opening event we also provided event management, experience services for over 700 guests and VIPs, event staffing, talent and stage management. ALIVE managed the needs and concerns of dozens of internal and external stakeholders, as well as ensuring the comfort and security of VIPs from around the world. Guests included Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and international recording artist JJ Lim who debuted a new song written and dedicated to this one-of-a-kind building.
